Dentist – Greenfield, WI

Get to Know Dr. Kirsten Farr

Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Go Packers!), Dr. Kirsten Farr is proud to spend her days helping patients in and around Greenfield to improve and maintain their beautiful smiles. One of the best rewards of being a dentist is helping patients build confidence in their pearly whites and oral hygiene habits. For her, patient education is the key to healthier teeth, and she’s dedicated to accomplishing this every day she comes to the office. If you’d like to learn more about her and her journey to Advanced Dental Treatment Center, read on!

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Farr was exposed to dentistry at a very young age, as her grandfather was an oral surgeon who absolutely loved what he did every day. She enjoyed hearing all about the work he did and how rewarding the profession was to him. Mix this with her love for visiting the dentist, and she was moved to begin shadowing her general dentist during high school. After a while, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry because of her interest in science as well as the opportunity to use her detail-oriented nature and artistic side as well.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Farr pursued her undergraduate degree at Marquette University, earning her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences before attending the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine to obtain her dental doctorate. She even served as president of her school’s chapter of the American Student Dental Association!

Today, she is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and she’s committed to undergoing extensive continuing education courses, including Implant Placement and Advanced Invisalign Treatment Planning, to expand her skills and expertise. She is also certified in Invisalign and diode lasers, and she has years of experience in performing restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthetics, endodontics, extractions, socket preservation, and bone grafting.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Away from the office, Dr. Farr enjoys being with her boyfriend and loved ones. She comes from a tight-knit family, so having quality time with them regularly is important to her. She is a Green Bay Packers fan and is an avid Marquette Men’s Basketball fan—she even has season tickets! Dr. Farr is also a green thumb, as she is constantly adding to her growing jungle of house plants—she started a tomato garden summer of 2024. She loves traveling to new places, trying new restaurants in Milwaukee, cooking new dishes at home with her boyfriend, and watching movies and TV shows!
